Master Sungjin Kim is a 7th Dan master and

coach, internationally certified by Kukkiwon. He is also a certified national referee in South Korea and the United States. Recently, Master Kim has been nominated to be the best poomsae coach in North America. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Taekwondo and a Master's Degree in Sports Management at Kyung Hee University located in South Korea.

 

Master Kim prepares his students to

participate in local, national, and international competitions. This includes U.S. Open, USAT Nationals, ATU Nationals, Canada Open, Pan-American Open, Pan-American International Championships, and USA Olympic team trials. In each competition, his students have placed and earned medals, winning the respect and recognition from studios across the globe. So far, seven of his students have qualified for the USA National Team for Taekwondo.

 

To support the community, Master Kim

has numerously taught Taekwondo to Special Needs students at both Collins Hill High School and Duluth High School. He also prepares his students to perform Taekwondo demonstrations for various community events and activities.
